A gold-palladium (Au-Pd) film was deposited by plasma before undergoing a series of electrical discharges.
Scanning electron microscopy of 140 images assembled to form a single super-resolution image. Stained and processed afterwards. (About 15.7 µm in diameter).
This is the original Colloid on metallized silicon oxide and struck by lightning created by Guillaume Beaudin, Etienne Saint-Amant, 3IT/LN2 and the Université de Sherbrooke.
