GMAD15 is a commemorative artwork made in collaboration with the Montreal architectural firm GMAD.
Pigmented inks on professional photo paper, museum-glazed acrylic and aluminum.
Inlaid with a silicon crystal that has undergone grayscale electrolithography followed by plasma etching. The result is a matrix of 500 nm x 500 nm pillars of varying heights.
Created by Guillaume Beaudin, Raphaël Dawant, Etienne Saint-Amant, GMAD in collaboration with Laboratoire Nanotechnologies & Nanosystèmes (LN2), Institut interdisciplinaire d'innovation technologique (3IT) and Université de Sherbrooke.
